Our policies regarding custom handcrafting, site usage, and transactions.
Welcome to Kilted Candles. By accessing our website and placing an order, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions of service. Please review them carefully.
Each of our candles and wax melts is individual and unique. Because all products are hand-poured in small, controlled batches in North Carolina, minor aesthetic variations—such as slight wax frosting, minor wax coloration shifts, and subtle label alignment offsets—are normal characteristics of the handcrafting process. These natural details do not affect the quality, burn time, or scent performance of the product.
Product images displayed on the site, including candle closeups and lifestyle representations, are high-quality mockups and photography. While we strive to show colors and packaging as accurately as possible, actual glass texture, lid shine, and wax colors may vary slightly on different screens. We reserve the right to modify container designs, styling details, or fragrance formulations at any time.
By placing an order, you warrant that you are at least 18 years of age or possess legal parental consent. All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typography errors or system discrepancies. In such cases, we will issue a full refund immediately.
We are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all visitors. We strive to continually improve the user experience for everyone, applying relevant accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines). If you experience any difficulty accessing any part of our website or shopping cart, please contact us at info@kilted-candles.com, and we will be happy to assist you.
Kilted Candles is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from the misuse of our products. Please read and follow the burning guidelines provided on our **Candle Care** page and on the warning label situated at the bottom of every candle container (such as trimming wicks to 1/4" and never leaving a burning candle unattended).
